Inclusion Teacher · Birmingham
I'm an inclusion teacher with 9 years of experience in mainstream and special schools. I work with children aged 3-14 who struggle with sensory processing, fine motor skills, handwriting, and accessing the curriculum.
I create practical strategies that help children feel comfortable in the classroom - from seating arrangements and sensory breaks to adapted resources and handwriting support. I also design classroom accommodation plans that teachers can implement easily.
My sessions are hands-on and activity-based. I meet children where they are and build on their strengths. I also coach parents on how to incorporate sensory strategies into everyday routines at home.
Amir created a sensory strategy plan for our son that has made mornings so much easier. He's calmer, more focused at school, and actually enjoys the activities. Brilliant teacher.
Our daughter struggles with handwriting and fine motor skills. Amir assessed her thoroughly and gave us a clear plan. After 6 sessions her writing has improved enormously.
Amir is so good with kids. Our son actually looks forward to his sessions. The classroom accommodation plan he wrote was taken on board by the school immediately.
