Learning Support Teacher

£25 – £60/hr

1:1 tutoring, IEP support, school liaison, and parent guidance from experienced SEND teachers.

SENCO

£30 – £70/hr

EHCP applications, annual review preparation, school meeting support, and SEND provision planning.

SEND Teacher

£25 – £65/hr

Communication and language support, behaviour strategies, sensory needs, and classroom adaptation advice.

Behaviour Support Teacher

£25 – £65/hr

Behaviour support, PDA and ADHD strategies, emotional regulation, and home routine planning.

Inclusion Teacher

£25 – £65/hr

Sensory processing strategies, fine motor skills, classroom accommodations, and curriculum access support.

EHCP Consultant

£30 – £70/hr

EHCP drafting and reviews, tribunal preparation, SEND law guidance, and school complaint support.

Common questions

Do parents pay a subscription?
No. Beaakon is completely free for parents. You only pay the specialist's hourly rate when you book a session.
How do specialists set their rate?
When you create your profile, you choose your own hourly rate. You can update it at any time. There's no minimum or maximum - it's entirely up to you.
Are there any hidden fees?
No hidden fees for parents or specialists. Specialists pay a small platform fee on completed sessions to keep Beaakon running. That's it.
Why do rates vary between specialists?
Rates reflect each specialist's experience, qualifications, and specialism. A SENCO with 15 years of EHCP experience may charge more than a newly qualified SEND teacher - and that's fine. You choose the right fit for your family and budget.
Can I try a session before committing?
Absolutely. There's no commitment or contract. Book a single session with any specialist and see if it's the right fit. Many families start with one session and go from there.
