SEND support that fits your family.
Beaakon connects parents in the UK with vetted SEND specialists — the people who can actually help.
Our mission
Beaakon was founded in 2026 to remove the barriers to getting SEND support and make expert help accessible to every family.
The SEND system is hard. Waiting lists are long. Letters arrive that no one explains. Meetings happen that parents are expected to navigate on their own. Beaakon puts a real, qualified person on your side — by name, when you need them.
What we do
Beaakon's network of vetted SEND specialists has helped families across the UK with every step of the SEND journey: applying for an EHCP, preparing for school meetings, understanding assessment reports, choosing the right school, and putting strategies in place at home.
You book the specialist you want, when you want, for as long as you need. Sessions happen over secure video. Most start with a free 15-minute consultation so you can choose with confidence.
Our specialists
Every specialist on Beaakon is a qualified and experienced SEND professional — experienced SENCOs, Educational Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Specialist Teachers and Behaviour Analysts.
Before any profile goes live, we verify their ID, check their Enhanced DBS, review their qualifications and take up a reference. We re-check at renewal. The result is a list of names you can trust without having to do the digging yourself.
What we believe
- Every child deserves the right support. Not just the ones whose parents already know the system.
- The people closest to the work know best. The most useful advice usually comes from someone who has lived this with families like yours.
- Help should be simple, honest and human. No jargon. No gatekeeping. No six-month wait for a half-hour conversation that could change a year.
