Learning Support Teacher · Leeds
I've been working in SEND education for 15 years - first as a learning support assistant, then as a qualified SEND teacher. I've worked in mainstream and special schools across Yorkshire.
I help parents understand their child's learning profile, liaise with schools on their behalf, and create practical IEPs (Individual Education Plans) that actually get followed. I also offer 1:1 tutoring sessions tailored to your child's learning style.
I'm passionate about making sure every child gets the support they deserve, regardless of their school's resources. I'm here to be your advocate and your child's champion.
Sarah is an absolute star. She came to our school meeting, helped us understand what was being offered, and made sure our son's IEP was actually meaningful. We felt so supported.
Our daughter has dyslexia and was falling behind. Sarah's tutoring sessions have been fantastic - she's patient, creative, and really understands how to teach differently. Big improvement.
Sarah helped us navigate the school system when we felt completely ignored. She wrote to the SENCO, attended meetings with us, and got our child the support that was long overdue.
